Executionist Unleashes “Serrated Shadows” Video from Debut Album “Sacrament of the Sick”

West Virginia thrash metal band Executionist announced their debut full-length album, “Sacrament of the Sick”, set for release on May 16, 2025. The official video for the first single, “Serrated Shadows,” premiered today, and is available on YouTube, with the track streaming on Bandcamp. Pre-orders for the album, which promises a blend of razor-sharp thrash aggression and soaring melodic elements, are now live on Bandcamp.

Formed in Gallagher, West Virginia, Executionist—brothers Brett Ash (guitars, vocals, bass) and Tristan Ash (drums, backing vocals)—has been carving a path in the underground scene since their 2021 EP Destined for Destruction. Sacrament of the Sick draws comparisons to Kreator and Children of Bodom, fusing relentless riffing with intricate melodies. The “Serrated Shadows” video, filmed and edited by Logan Battista of Lucid Lens Media, captures the band’s ferocity, while the album’s artwork by Mitchell Nolte and logo by ModBlackMoon and HermanTwo reflect their dark, dynamic aesthetic. Stream the single now and pre-order to experience Executionist’s electrifying thrash assault.
