Cryptopsy Drops “Until There’s Nothing Left” Video, An Insatiable Violence Set for June 20

Montreal’s technical death metal band Cryptopsy have announced their ninth album, An Insatiable Violence, slated for release on June 20, 2025, via Season of Mist. Today, they unleash the lead single and video, “Until There’s Nothing Left,” a brutal earworm blending Olivier Pinard’s grotesque bass slaps, Christian Donaldson’s razor-sharp riffs, and Matt McGachy’s ferocious false chord scream. Watch it on YouTube and stream now!

Inspired by a perverse cycle of self-torture akin to social media addiction, the eight-track album—produced by Donaldson at The Grid—features Flo Mounier’s groundbreaking drum techniques and a guest appearance by a former vocalist on “Embrace the Nihility.” The late Martin Lacroix’s artwork, a grim tribute to his legacy, adorns the cover. “It’s our most vile chapter yet,” McGachy told Decibel.

  3. Dead Eyes Replete
